I live in Northampton, MA with my brand new fiance and our two cats. We have a corner apartment with a charming little pantry and a kitchen that's big enough for us both to be in at the same time. I start blogs with the best intentions, but rarely follow through.

Letters from C's mother
I received an email from C's mom today. In it she said, "Seems like they hang on and hang on and then one day they all blow away." She was talking about the leaves this time of year, but the way she worded it really resonated with me. We hang on and we hang on and then we just let go. Most of life is like that. We try and we try and then we just can't anymore. The leaves are the same way.

Now you know where I get my dark poetic streak.
On a fall note, I noticed the leaves at the corner of Cleveland and Hanover are pretty much gone. Seemed like it happened overnight.
